Looking back, I realised how much we've grown. From a bunch of noob cadets, we sort of improved? and now becoming who we are now. Today is Friday, the last day of official holiday acts before the real promo. A month later and we'll all be taking our promotion test, and then all, or maybe most of us will ascend to Lance Corporals. I'm really nervous, lols. cos i seriously dowan to miss this rank. I think most of us wants to get promoted too. Anyway...

As mentioned by Ken, we will be having practice in school every Tuesdays till the promo day. From 11.30am to about 3pm. I hope most of you will come lah. 'cos seriously, we really hope to see everyone getting promoted. Actually, frankly speaking, I was quite happy today lah. cos our standard is definitely much better than the previous few acts. and not that i want to say it, but we were really not up to standard for the previous few acts.

And also, congratulations to Xing Yao fer being so pro in CC. and Junianti(as always. zzz) for being so pro in drill. I donno why im posting this, seriously. zzz. i think i'm just bored. oya by the way, Foong Hui and I needs to collect money from you guys. 10bucks per person. will be collecting on tuesday. Please bring. It's fer the unit chalet. AND, i was thinking, since we have to pay for it, why not just go? i mean, it'll definitely bond us together. yeh? so please go.

And yes, i really need someone to save me. I need serious help with those two lamps. Seriously, i'm waaaaaay behind all of 'ya when it comes to CC, so you guys have to help me. thanks arh. I donno what to say liao leh. im waiting for my game to download finish. and im damn bored currently. can someone please read and faster spam posts with me?

okok . erm . ya . i kinda agree man ! the squad's enthu-ness has almost died down .. i oso . i now dun really lyk rvnp liao . maybe its cuz of our ncos ? after ROD right .. haixx x.x . i dunnoe lahh . i still miss our sec 4 lehhs . the present ncos i dunnoe wad happen to them . they seem to be lyk our past ncos but i just dun really lyk them lehhs > no offense >.< . is lyk u see them then sian liao . but i still lurve my squadmates lahh . x33 &ya ! so i dunnoe ? everyone's tired ? too tired ? now even captain's ball is so sian .. i dun feel lyk playin liao . but shld try . Change is the only constant thing is this world.

Yes, I agree, I seriously agree.

From ignorant NPCC cadets we were at the start of the year to the currently slightly more mature cadets now, we've gone through loads of different troubles together. Through them all, we all have unknowingly created bonds between one another. Bonds that will bind us together as one for a couple of years more to go, regardless of whether we want it or not. We're still currently like the molecules in the liquid state, bound more closely as compared to the gaseous state, but still distant from one another. Perhaps it'll take a longer time for us all to solidify into our solid state, I don't know. But I hope, no, we all should hope, that it'll happen soon.

The change of the batch of NCOs did create an impact on us, a huge impact actually. Before the change, around Mid-July to about Early-August, we were all mostly very enthusiastic for our acts and the attendance was rather satisfying, though it wasn't perfect. Thats because we adored and loved our ex-NCOs, causing that phenomenen. But no, we shouldn't live in the past, and revel in the bliss that we were once in. Change has came, even Barack Obama has became the very first black president, so why should we still resist this new current batch of NCOs?

We've been trying to block out them from entering our lives as cadets, and not releasing their full potential of being good NCOs. We've also been comparing them to our previous batch of NCOs, not that it is a bad thing, but yeah, that'll only remind of us the past, which isn't good in the long run. So why don't we just go along with the never-ending flow of change?

I am tired.

We all are tired.

We all hope that going for acts aren't more of a chore than pleasure.

It is possible, seriously, it is.

Think, in the past, we were all trying out best to resist the previous NCO batch, but over time, we did start to accept them, to embrace them, and of course, to love them. So why not we do the same for this current batch of NCOs?

The talk, or rather, heart-to-heart discussion we had yesterday together with the NCOs seriously set me thinking hard.
We're now falling apart, our standard has dropped, the enthusiasm level is no longer there. In short, the burning flame in us has been doused with water and it's slowly being extinguished. It seriously saddens me that we're becoming the state that we are now.

Are the NCOs really that bad?
Or are do we just simply refuse to accept them?

I don't know, I seriously don't know the answer.

But all I know is that we've to create an opening for us to get out of this state we're in now. And it can only be accomplished as a squad, I emphasise, as a squad.

We want to be looked up at by our juniors, we definitely do not want to be looked down upon by our seniors. So lets work hard together, to achieve that standard that we want, to become good cadets, and in the end, good NCOs that will be able to lead the incoming juniors.

Even the NCOs are trying to change. As they said, they are all trying to reflect upon their actions, and think of ways to improve the standard of the unit. Even NCO Raymeo, who seems to be extremely strict during acts, stated on his blog that he'll try not to scold us that much, and that already shows that they're changing.

So, squadmates, lets move on, shall we? Let the poision of misery be purged from our hearts, and it'll only be then where OUR new beginning with the current batch of NCOs will start.

We must remember, its not the batch of NCOs that we're coming to acts for, its not the NCOs that we're doing our best for.
We're doing it for our squadmates, and for RVNP itself.
Its for the regcognition of our squad by others.
So from here on, lets just unleash whatever force we've been surpressing from earlier on.

Together, lets create a new page of history for ourselves from now on, shall we?

Hey people!:D Okay, since Pei Hao and Junianti have both posted, i shall post too!:D Junianti is sure quick! She posted soon after the Unit Trek was over. Anyway, i sure did have fun with my group. We got to know the seniors a little better as well!:D

Okay, so about the money for the unit chalet right, Pei Hao&I will not be able to collect it the next act(11/11/08) cause we both will not be able to make it to the next act. There's a PSL camp. I'm quite sure that Junianti will be at the camp too. So we need someone to collect the money!

I don't really agree with junianti that everyone wants to promote. :xx I tried to ask Si Heng to come for act by telling him "You want to pass your promo right? If you continue to not come for act, you will miss out on a lot of things. We cannot teach everything to you in such a short time, so, come for act!" Then he said "no, i don't want to promote, i wanna stay as a private!" I told him that it won't look good when you become a nco then he didn't care so, yeah, i had nothing else to say. Can tell how much Si Heng dislikes NP right... Haiz... okay, so we must try to make them go to the holiday acts!

Yup, we would start planning our plans for what to do during the holidays, do try to come!:D I'm quite sure it will help a little. Study hard for the up-coming promo!:D

Hello peeps!! haha.. Let me continue our squad's zeal.. haha.. lol.. Anw, hope u all enjoy the unit trek today.. I myself have a very nice and enjoyable time, and i believe you do too, with your grp ICs and members.. haha.. ok.. lets talk abt sth else..

Anw, the $$ for the unit chalet is only $10.. so PH or FH, pls collect the right amt.. THKS :)..And also, we really nd to take some constructive actions on ppl lyk Shi Min and Si Heng.. They have been "pon-ning" activities for the whole year.. So erm, we nd to discuss more on the plans..(ADDRESSED to_ YS, PH, FH, Ken and Madeline).. Then, erm.. we also nd to confirm the dates to mt for revision for PROMO!!! Surely all of u will want to promote to LANCE rite?! ok... these is roughly the overview of wat our plans are ahead.. See ya on next act!! RMB TO BRING UR 10 BUCKS!!!

Well well well, seeing that this blog is TOTALLY, I shall post something. Hmm, EOYs are over, LONG over. Sports day also over, and I won one gold and one silver medal. Not bad not bad. Next year SHOULD have more. And I think Foong Hui got 1 gold/silver medal also. Grats grats. But I'm still better.

Anyway...since holidays are coming, of course there'll be programmes. There wouldn't be alot, so I hope most of you will come, whether or not you like your squadmates. At least, just come? Chalet, i hope there'll still be chalet. Rumors are that Coasta Sands and Aloha are fully booked already.

Promotion is coming. Last week of December. So as what I've heard from Ken, he say we will be having practices during the holidays once every week. We hope that everyone could make it, so that we all can pass the promotion and be a Lance.

Hmm, what else...ohya! There's this thing about the MONEY. Squad fund is left with $50++ and EVERYONE needs to pay $15 for the unit chalet, whether you are going OR not. So, I don feel like collecting, thus, everyone shall pass the money to Foong Hui. Okay, decided! Good bye and Thank you. :]
