Hello Squadmates..!!! HAHA.. we survived yet another round of CC PRAc!!! SO happy..And the gd thing is, there is a possibility tat the CC Theory and GK Paper are postponed to until school re-opens!!! WOoHoO..(CHeers)
Anw, those who did not come for CC Prac today, Ma'am told us to tell u all.. THat the "mosquito thingy" part of the NPCC four-men tent shld be "MOSQUITO NET".. and not Mosquito FLAP or Mosquito TRAP..(???) ok.. pls note the change.. dun understand can ask ur fellow squadmates fr ur class or anyone in the squad.. Ok..
And also, one of the GK qn might be abt the unit hierarchy lyk who the CI, H/O, sirs and ma'ams of RVNP.. Erm, for that rite, according to NCO Si Min, she said that pls refer to the notes which was given to us by our ex-NCOs.. the old one.. But the NCO Hierarchy pls learn the new batch one.. Ken will KINDLY post more details in the next post.. HOPEFULLY.. Ok.. THat's all i am going to say.. BB.. :)

1.Sedia (Attention): Left leg raise to 90 degrees (foot pointing down) and bang！No horse kick!
2.Senang Diri (Stand at Ease): Opposite of Sedia. No horse kick!
3.Kekenan Lurus (Dressing): Cadets standing at front row and behind right marker raise right arm (parallel to the ground), whole squad tilt head to face right marker & bang left leg. Timing: Up-Check, up to raise arms, and check to raise leg (Make sure is 90 degrees)to bang! Actions must be swift and sharp! Only Command that can be executed next :Pandan Kehadapan Pandan
4.Tahat Setia, Sedia(For Pledge): Timing: Check-up Self explanatory! Take note: Move your hand up sharply with the timing up (that means after check, you move your hand up sharply.) Thumb should not be seen! Only Command that can be executed next : SediaSedia: Timing: Check-cut, opposite from the 1st command.Actions must be SWIFT !
5.Keluar Baris: Timing: Turn-check, check-lup-right-lup. Turn to the right and March! Take note that you need to apply your static turning and marching skills (things to look out for).
6.Hentakaki Chepat Hentak: Timing: lup-lup-lup-right…! You know what to do, so I don’t need to explain, but take note that don’t horse kick and raise your legs to 90 degrees. Tap with your TOES lightly, don’t bang with your entire foot. Remember to lock arms. Only 2commands that can be executed next: Maju and berhenti.
7. Berhenti: Command land on right foot while hentakaki-ing. Timing: Check , Check is on left foot, so you bang with right foot and halt.
8.Maju (continue marching from hentakai): Command must not be dragged, if dragged, don’t execute. Command Ma lands on right foot while hentakaki, while ju lands on left foot. The command lands on two consecutive foots. After command is given and it lands onleft foot, bang the next right foot and continue marching. [Go try it out cause this command needs practice and won’t be learned just by reading!]
9.Static turning: Timing: Turn-check. A total of 12 commands! And is better to understand how these commands are given rather then memorizing it. So of course I am not telling you the commands cause you should be very sure with it already. Things to take note of: 1. When raising leg, raise to 90 degrees and don’t horse kick, 2. Lock arms, 3. Pivot properly, for e.g. When turning right, turn with youselves standing on the toes on your left foot, while standing on your heels on your right foot, and vice versa on when turning left.(Sry if your don’t understand this, cause I read it and it’s confusing, so the best way is actually to consult a squad mate who are pro in drills)

I miss the past, I miss it alot.
I'd still like to say that even if everybody gives up on this squad, I still won't.

I love this squad. I love every single one of us(even Louis).
I dare proclaim that I'll be that lame and childish to write "I love my squad" on a piece of tape and stick it on my forehead.
I don't know about you, but I do love my squad.
I miss the enthusiasm.

Madeleine, I can see that you're putting in loads of effort, but it ain't enough. Nevertheless, thanks. Most of the time, you make me feel motivated, because you're always co-operative. Thanks alot, seriously.

From the beginning of RVNP's history, we've been second to none, even NCC.
Is the reign going to be over soon? All because of us?

Especially NCC, have you heard how they're saying we're lousy?

I didn't shout that loud during drills to tackle their shouts for nothing.
I believe we can do better than them.

I KNOW WE CAN DO IT.
Since our past i/cs', we've already been told we've potential.
Truckloads of potential.
First, they were Liting, Clarine, QinHui, Kah Hoe, now, it's Raymeo, Simin, Wee Teck and HuiMin.
They all pin their hopes on us.
Are we gonna disappoint them just like that?
Do you think the present NCOs will keep shouting at us if they don't care?
Obviously not.
Why are they doing this? Because they care for us.
So why are we doing this? Because we hate them?
No, that'll be selfish, too selfish.
Remember what the current NCOs had told us? Loads of the NCOs wanted to take our squad because they could sense the hugeass potential in our squad, but now, they're all disappointed. I think it's time we all got motivated again to work this out together, serious, it's only a couple of days more to the promotion test and a few weeks before the start of the new year. Are we gonna be some noob shit when the juniors come in and let them look down on us?
Back to the serious stuff.
Look at Shimin and Si Heng, I don't have to elaborate so much, all of you here knows it yourself.
Well, I've posted about the negative stuff, so here's something better.
At least, when we went collecting the money today, quite a small number followed us to collect the money. So at least I feel glad that there's some passion left in us, thats good, but not good enough. Oh, and I would like to thank Clarine here too. Thanks for being nice and going all around to help us. And thanks, your presence gave me motivation to memorise the sizing commands today, because you gave us the impression that you still cared, and thats what matters.
Yawns, sighs.
I feel very tired, perhaps because it's already 3.40am, but it doesn't matter. What matters most to me now is our squad. I swear I'll not play a fool during acts any more, Peihao and I will be as serious as can be. Perhaps we've to consult Jing Yee on how we can learn to be as serious as her(no offence k, LOL). Nevertheless, I still hate myself, for letting us drop into this state. It hurts, it seriously does. From a totally cute squad to a ._. one, it's like seeing a pretty girl on TV only to find out that she's shittily ugly in real life.
We can only lead you to the river, but we can't force you to drink. We can talk to you and plan the activities for you. But we can't force you to listen and attend the things we plan. The responsibility is all yours. Everyone of us plays a part. Perhaps we could all sit down as a squad and interact some day, that would be great, besides, we seriously need that. Interaction, bonding, it's really important. As important as China which is trying to help tide over this crisis now.
Just take a little moment to ponder over this. Even better, pass it on, tell others about your opinions. Make them reflect. All it takes is just a small moment, and a bit of effort. Perhaps you can think about it while you're doing your business in the toilet or something, but at least, think about it. And er, maybe you can tag your opinions or wishes down in the tagboard, then we can fulfill them together. Don't give up, we're still young, lets feel the power of youth together
Do remember, we all play a part, the 34 of us will form a piece of pizza, without any of us, we'll be like a revolting 1/34 eaten pizza and that'd be disastrous. Okay I'm gonna end this here, the bed has never looked more appealing than this.
Ponder, it just takes a small moment and effort.
