[[RVNP Sec01 'o8]] journeys♥

as discussed today, we need to come out with animes to draw on the flag. Yes, and all the guys behind me shouted naruto...bleach... blah blah... lol. easy to say, but hard to draw. i wouldnt mind if those guys can draw the characters in naruto such as kakashi, sasuke, or even orochimaru well. as for bleach, ichigo, rukia, byakuya, blah... are also hard to draw. unless you tell me you want to draw kon and the others modified souls in that show. if they can, i have absolutely no comment. i bet they wouldnt even want to contribute in drawing the flags lor... but one solution is to draw the characters in chibi version. this will make it much easier to draw.

next, this is the summary of the meeting today:
- majority of the squad wanted a squad jacket. so its a squad jacket i will design.
- anime characters that is considerably not so difficult to draw:

~ Katekyo Hitman Reborn: Reborn, Lambo, I-pin, some of the arcobaleno, Hi-bird.

~ Naruto (chibi)

characters: rock lee, sakura, negi, hinata, temari, sasuke or sakura.

distorted expression. but easy to draw characters in the last picture. :D

as for bleach, even the chibi are hard to draw so may we should give up on bleach bah... instead of choosing 5 different anime, we can choose one anime and draw 5 different charcters of it. it will be much more simpler like that. oh well, we shall talk more about it when ITC draws near and everyone starts to panic. haha. its a natural occurence in our squad for last minute things. haha. ---Jiemin:D

Woo!! Apparently seen from ytd's act, Ma'am had changed quite a lot :) which is a gd thing.. *CLAPS*.. so now we shall hope that we will do better with positive attitude from her, and of course, most importantly, ourselves..XD

Ok.. i came to post bcos we have very very very important things on hand.. ITC DANCE!!!!! Ok.. i am suggesting that we stay back on Wed to do the dance, since Monday and Thursday are out bcos of swimming lessons.. So Wednesday seems the best.. Erm, on that day, (preferably 25th Feb) we shall confirm the songs to use and then choreograph(Sry if spelt wrongly) some steps.. better to have ALL steps ready.. XD.. if we can.. If not, juz do the chorus first..

And another thing is that ytd Kristine and I talked to Shi Min abt the Drill Commands which he missed out lyk almost all.. So we srsly need to help him rmb the commands and timings.. If not he join us for drill but dunno the commands and all those stuff also useless.. So i suggest that we try our best to find time to teach him all these commands, esp ppl from 2I to 2K... cos u all dun have swimmming lessons.. so it might be better and more convenient for u all to find "access" to him.. XD..

OK.. I think that is all that i wanna say.. Try to finish all these stuff, ESPECIALLY ITC DANCE.. asap.. JYs.. Lets hope our attitude and attendance will "soar to greater heights" with help from NCOs, ourselves and even Sirs and Ma'ams.. XD

i shall accept the fact that im the welfare head and start my duty of serving welfare to you people from now onwards.

i am thinking of passing down a 1-min survey asking constructive feedbacks and opinions of some rvnp things whenever we have a classroom lesson during np time. such questions includes:

--> Are you unhappy with that person decision of wearing full-u?

--> Do you think that person's punishment is effective in our squad?

--> Are you satisfied with the current bonding of our squad?

--> Do you want a squad tee?

--> Do you want squad outing?

--> Do you think CD and CC lessons are boring?

--> Do you think our ICs have done a good job?

--> Do you think the current standards of PT is too tough to cope with?

the questions very interesting right? Depending on the response of different questions, actions will be carried out to "adjust" them. With this, we can know what our squadmates are thinking. Through constructive feedbacks and opinions , we can make our live in np better (except that full-u thing which we dun even have a say due to someone's autocratic ruling system). aiya... this is only a very short one-minute survey for you to tick in the [YES or NO] column of each question, where by you wont miss out a lot of things the NCOs are teaching during the classroom lessons. results of the survey will be posted onto this blog for general viewing after the survey of that day is done:DD with this, even the NCOs can know what our views are and make changes. haha. until SG and ASG or people's approval in this activity is shown, this plan will not commence. --Welfare comm. head

kk. squadmates. i learnt something interesting today and i want to express my feelings to u all.

the Tsar outrages ruling and autocratic system makes me pissed at the sight of it. Tsar uses its authority power to order its people, giving its people no freedom. i, as a trade union member, protect and care for the rights and welfare of my people. This is why I think that we should oppose the Tsar. the harsh living conditions is intolerant and unreasonable. Although we are the lowest class in the society, i do not think we deserve such treatment. A mighty king should be a trustworthy person who does not make empty promises. i do not see that quality in the Tsar. the Tsar enjoys royalty rights and do not care about us. Tsar employs powerless Duma who did nothing to help us. Bosses of our factory scold us when an accident happens and blames us for our carelessness.

by using cross-reference of the above and our situation, u should know what i meant.

After today's act, i really feel the need to post. The great aspect- Shi Min came! And finally 2G and the teachers are working with us to get him for CCA. Months and months of people "pursuing" him- finally! No, it is not for the reason that Ken always speaks of, that we'll get into trouble without him. It is because he is our squadmate. Ours. RVNP Sec1 2008, even if he has zero knowledge on RVNP and forgot all our names. It only feels normal with all 34 of us.
Today, I saw Ernest heading towards the side-gate as i was going up the stairs to retrieve my bag. I paused for a considerable amount of time, watching him cross the distance between the canteen and his destination. In those seconds, I had no thought about chasing him back. ONly at the very last second as he disappeared from view did i decide: I dont want to see my squadmate leave like that.
Obviously, thanks to my pathetic rapport with my class guys, i failed to "retrieve" him and also because of my lack of determination. I hope you are reading this, Ernest. Because you conveniently happen to be my classmate. Friday, if i take one valuable item from your best pals- they'll psycho you for me. =)
NCO Si Min asked before if we felt closer to classmates or squadmates. My answer? The latter. No, NCO Raymeo, NOT PT. It was built before that mentality, in our first months of RVNP. Perhaps why we are always so reluctant to persuade people to come for act is because we dont want to spoil that bond- so to the people who are "ponning", dont make us have to do it.
I will be commencing "discipline mistress" (-_- Ken...) duties on our 2 2K squadmates- and hopefully i can get the support of a former classmate in 2k. Hopefully. HOPEFULLY.
Now to today's act. Everyone noticed, obviously, that today's bersurai (spelt correctly?) was met with an awful LACK of energy. I am not ging to be a hypocrite to say i agree with ma'am, like ma'am, or will happily accept what she most kindly offers. In fact, I am still wondering how our NCOs lived with her as their I/C. We got 100 pumpings last act for PT. Then did our NCOs get a norm of 200? I can just imagine her saying "100 more to go, ENDURE!" (did i ever mention i hate that word?)
Yes. In her book, she may find this very reasonable. Unfortunately, ma'am, i do not see it this way.
While I for one would be venting out steam on that, can we not forget that PONNING, MASS PONNING and HATING RVNP TO THE CORE will get us nowhere? Ponning of the usual people are bad enough. Our consistent squadmates too? What, the scene i wrote about in my previous post, (9 PEOPLE) is coming true?
Sir Qin Hui said that it would be our last act with full-U punishment. Rather than getting harped up on what our dear ex I/C's words, why not focus on his belief in our ability? That's why we went through the trouble of specially preparing our U and attending act in full-U right?
Forseeing ma'am's VERY possible response next act, why not we challenge ma'am. Ironically enough, with endurance. See how long she plays this childish game with us. Fight the ridiculous request with our sincerity. "Goodness" always prevails over "Evil", right? I believe no other squad currently in RVNP 2009 wore full-U for so long. First milestone created by us, longest number of consegutive full-U wearing acts? And lived?
What destiny unites, life divides. Generally speaking, i agree. In the context of today's act, NO. Quite afew of us were thrown into RVNP, others choosing it in the choices. By luck or misfortune, we are united to be RVNP Sec1' 08. That's destiny, and try as you might, you cant fight it, as demonstrated by Shi Min.
Now what tries to divide us? Divide the squad so carefully joint together by our ex and current I/Cs? This barrier. I dont know what is counted perfectly fine to ma'am (somehow i doubt it exists), but unless she is completely made of stone, she will have to acept one of world's most true emotions: Sincerity.
Personally, i wont be stopping any of our long term attending squadmates from ponning. I will however stop the regular ponners. (life is unfair, yes.) Persuade, yes. Stop, no. If you ask what is so good about NP, the answer will be what's not good about NP? If you can answer that with no rebuttals, i take my hat- beret- off to you. Think about how NP itself is, without the very extra inclusions. Just understand that ma'am is not the representative of RVNP.
Why let ma'am's rotten opinion of us become true just because we cannot stand it? Why allow her the chance to look at our NCOs in a "I-knew-it" look? Why disappoint our NCOs and our ex I/Cs when they see us- because of her? Are we not awaiting the day our NCOs see us at attendance taking, beam and compliment us?
Think of it, and reconsider.

Okay,both Foonghui and Peihao have made their posts regarding the matters on the wearing of our full uniform. So, this post that I'm going to make is going to address the issue on the number of people not turning up for act.

People like Shimin thinks that ponning acts is fun, well, perhaps it is, but somehow or rather, I just can't share their joy. For this coming act on tuesday, I'd be going all out to bring Shimin for act. While I'm gonna focus my energy on Shimin, I hope that the rest of the squad can either join me OR persuade their own classmates to turn up for act(with their full uniform). Since this would be the last time we would be wearing our full uniform to act IF we show good standard, we'd better make use of this chance. So, as stated by the previous people who blogged, do bring your full uniform.

The next issue is on ITC, but it'd be better if we were to discuss it as a squad, if not, there'd be loads of disagreements if we learn from ancient Russia and have an autocratic system.

Yeah, I agree with Foonghui. It's time for us to show our true potential. See how good we're able to perform infront of our juniors? Feel the happiness when we "owned" our juniors so badly? (yeah, we may outnumber them, and at the same time have more experience than them, but whatever. LOL)So, again, for our next act, wear your full-u people! Wear them nice and smart! Impress those juniors and let them see us in awe and respect! If the whole squad falls in in full-u, it will definitely be a awesome sight. And it will be, our first ever, full squad in full-u. Squadmates!

I hope that all of y'all will try your best to prepare your full-u and make it as up to standard as possible and of course, wear it to act on the 17th of Feb. Our last "full-u as punishment" act. Like what Sir Qin Hui said, he was very disappointed. And he would like us to prove to him that we're not like that and that we can become better than what we are and what we used to be. For those who are aware, our standard has dropped a lot. We could have learnt more things and our attendance improved but our discipline dropped. Isn't that equivalent to a drop in standard? Which means that we haven't fulfilled our ncos expectations of us. Remember NCO Raymeo's 5 core values? It's right there, next to the posts, above the tagboard, under the word "Goals".

Tuesday, 17th February 2009, next activity, the day that we will determine what kind of a squad we are in Sir Qin Hui's eyes. Will it be a squad with potential or a squad that just has the "can't be bothered" attitude?
