[[RVNP Sec01 'o8]] journeys♥
Tired, really really very tired.
Not because it's 2.20am in the morning now,
It's because of every single one of you all.
I'm not pinpointing particularly on anyone,
But everyone has a part to the way our current squad is now.
Ken and I had a chat, not a very long one. Around, 30mins to 1hour+ chat.
We chat about alot of things. Mostly about our squad.
We talked about the good things, bad things, happy times, sad times.
So, let's get down to topic.
We're both very disappointed, very tired. Really, very.
We have no idea what's going on with our squad now.
What's with the big change suddenly?
I mean, what's wrong? Why?
Now, I'll be rather straightforward. I don't want to hide anything between one another.
First, we really need support.
Now, Ken and I realised that, it seems as though there aint many who are making effort.
I shall not state who made effort and who didn't, because I'm afraid of leaving out any.
But still, not enough. Really not enough.
Our squad has 30+ people, and only less than 10 are making effort.
Our squad has people like Shi Min and Si Heng always not attending cca.
We tried getting them to come.
All kinds of method doesn't work.
But that's alright.
Cos it's not as important as what is going wrong with the majority.
I mean, now everyone's following them?
I know, cca's boring. Even I feel that too, but are we going to cause the downfall of RVNP?
RVNP, always so good, always the best.
We are the best when there's Corporal Punishment.
Without Corporal Punishment, we're still quite good.
Now, we, sec1'08, are going to destroy this legacy.
If everyone starts ponning, it's really gone. Gone.
If we start ponning, what will the juniors next year feel?
They'll start ponning soon.
Then what? One after another junior, all start to pon.
By the time we reach Sec 4, no more juniors anymore?
Worse, no more Sec 4?
Even worse, does RVNP even exist by Sec 4?
This is what Ken and I have thought.
Last time, we have 30+ people attending CCA.
Now, we have 17people attending CCA.
Sec 2, as in next year, we have 10 people attending CCA.
Sec 3, 7 people.
Sec 4, what? 5people only?
One by one, I can feel that the passion you guys once had for RVNP, for sec1'08 is fading away.
I believe it's under influence.
Every time we go for act, all slack slack, see already also sian. No mood.
Then as time goes by, it's really damn waste of time to go for CCA.
Then, there goes the passion.
But, Ken and I are not giving up until the last moment.
Even if everyone of you gives up, we'll not give up.
We'll bring the squad up again, because we believe, we have to.
We also went through a lot of people. Names are going to be listed soon.
First, Ken and I are both still surviving, despite how tired we are, we're still trying.
FoongHui, she's dying out soon. I can sense that she's losing her passion too.
Freda, losing her passion also?
Chloe, same thing?
YangSheng, I bet he can't be bothered, or maybe 10-30% bothered.
Junianti, frankly speaking, though she's the Squad General, I can't see the effort she's putting.
Amanda, passion's dying out soon.
Many more, passion dead, or dying.
How? Really, how? Almost everyone's passions are gone.
Ken and I are really very tired.
Even when posting now, we're still very tired.
I believe Ken's posting now too.
So we'll most probably post the same thing.
I really dowan to see the day when our squad's left with a few people.
Okay, maybe you guys should go out with us for lunch?
Like, when we ask you go out with lunch with us, just go? please?
Imagine, if we go out for lunch together, we'll definitely bond, even if it's a little.
But if we don go out at all, no bonding, none at all.
The problem with our squad, is communication.
We lack communication.
Because you people don't care, no communication is made.
When there's no communication, everything fails.
Maybe you guys will disagree on some points I've mentioned, but it's all my opinions.
I hope no one gets offended when I mentioned their names.
And, can you guys really bear to disappoint those who care about us?
Liting, Qinhui, Clarine, Sharman, Raymeo, Wee Teck, Huimin, Simin.
They are all who care for us.
Liting, Qinhui, Clarine, Sharman.
These 4, they looked after us when we just entered into RVNP.
They had high hopes for us.
They believe we can do it.
I believe we can do it.
We can do it.
But will you guys do it?
Ken and I will definitely do it.
We just need you guys to join in with us.
Raymeo, Wee Teck, Huimin, Simin.
These 4 are our current I/Cs
They have high hopes for us too.
'Cos, they also believe we can do it.
See? Everyone believes we can do it.
They gave us support too.
Some may be fierce and shouted at us, but at least they didn't shout for fun.
They shouted 'cos they cared.
If they don't care, they wouldn't be bothered.
Ken and I posted 'cos we cared too.
We really dowan to give up on this squad, it's really wasted.
And, can't we just go out together? Have a lunch or something?
Let's not treat each other as squadmates.
Why not treat each other as friends?
Can't we go out as friends?
Who says we have to talk about NP stuff if we go out?
C'mon people, we ain't just squadmates, we're friends too.
Sad and need a shoulder, call anyone in the squad.
We'll be there for you.
Or call me, I'll definitely be there.
Happy and wants someone to share your joy with?
Call anyone too.
Or call me, I'll be happy that you're happy.
We need to bond. I'm not saying all these just for the sake of saying.
Some people in the squad, some, not just one, they think, but they don't say.
Words comes out, but no actions.
We need actions.
Today, some of the squadmates and Clarine went travelling around Singapore to collect money.
Money for the Unit Chalet.
It was tiring.
But I'm glad they followed.
We didn't have a lot of bonding.
But at least, their presence prove that they still have that little bit of passion.
And I'm glad to know that.
At least, now I know Ken and I aint the only one.
That's not the point.
Anyway, we wouldn't have to travel around Singapore actually.
Part of the reason is because of me.
I'm at fault.
Foonghui's at fault too.
We shouldn't have pushed the job to each other and kept procrastinating.
Ken said this to me,
If Foonghui and I collected the money earlier, we wouldn't be out today.
But it's not just us.
Next time, if we ask you guys to pay us the money, just pay please?
And I've decided, I'm gonna be serious.
No more fooling around.
I'm really gonna be serious.
I'll stop procrastinating.
I'll stop delaying stuff.
I know, many of you, seeing that everyone is fooling around, you guys followed suit.
That's why, I'm gonna be serious. Ken's gonna be serious.
I hope those in the committee are going to be serious too.
But it's not just about the committee.
The committee plans and organises events.
Squadmates have to join in the fun too.
If not, the events we organised will be gone.
For instance, not long ago, we had this squad bbq.
Quite fun I must agree.
But, only 12people went. Or maybe a little more than that.
But it's still very little.
We took so much trouble to organise a squad bbq,
And only a few went?
You guys must understand the trouble we have to go through.
We don't mind organising a few hundred more bbqs actually,
But can you guys attend if we organise them?
We're really very disappointed.
Everyone's disappointed, especially those who've put in effort.
Really very sad.
I shall end my post here.
I hope whoever who reads this, will really consider.
Maybe what's written above are crap,
But i guess you guys have a slight idea of the message I'm trying to convey.
Please, think it through, pass the passion around. Don't let it die.
